"Some of the tales are funny, some are sort of serious, but they all have something going for them and fit comfortably in the Star Wars milieu. "

FAN FILM LIBRARY
1-31-09: This announcement doesn’t have anything to do with Star Wars Tales, or even Star Wars at all. Instead I’m announcing the next animated fan film project that I will be writing, animating, and directing: Marvels. Based on the legendary graphic novel by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross, this will be a 5-7 stop motion faux trailer in the vein of John Fiorella’s Grayson and Sandy Collora’s Batman: Dead End. In a world of endless wonders, where mutants roam the streets and flying supermen populate the skies, a human photographer, Phil Sheldon, makes his living. Beginning with his career start in the late thirties and going all the way until his peak in the early seventies, Marvels shows a unique view of the familiar Marvel Comics universe through the eyes of a man with no powers and no place in the ranks of the übermensch. A man just like you.

I’m also announcing that for the moment there will be no website or blog to follow the development of this production. While I did have a website throughout the production of my two Star Wars fan films, I really feel that I should concentrate all my energy on the fan film while I’m making it and save the promotion until the film is close to release. I hope you viewers understand this and that it is in no way a slight against you.

For now, however, you can get a quick sneak into the film by checking out the film’s newly made Flickr page!

In 2010 (hopefully), experience the Marvel Universe through a whole new perspective: yours.
